Yahoo Mail App Sorry an Error Occurred Please Try Again 1242
I don't use Hot Post. I have created an account for Yahoo. It works briefly then simply freezes up. If I attempt to download mail service a few emails download and so it but stops and I get this message:
"Something went incorrect....
We're having a problem downloading messages. Make certain you have a connection and your account info is right, and then try again.
Error code: 0x80040902"
I have a connexion. My business relationship info is correct and I endeavour it over again, only I become the same bulletin.
I searched this error code in "help" simply get NO results. When I check the net I see comments that this ways I don't take a valid OS, just I do. I accept no idea what this is all about and accept to become back to yahoo simply to get mail.
Even if I don't download post, I cannot reply to messages I have in my inbox. The mail app freezes up and is non usable.
If I reboot it may part correctly for a few minutes merely and then fails every bit to a higher place.
Does anyone know what this is all about and more chiefly how to fix this?

Thank you for responding. I followed your instructions just the "trouble shooter" found no issues. Perhaps the issues is non related to the Win 10 mail app. That might be a bit worrisome though.

I'm sorry, I don't desire to audio ungrateful because I REALLY do appreciate ANY aid I can go with this simply honestly Win 10 Post is driving me crazy. I cannot go it to download any of my Yahoo mail folders even though I have verified my account numerous times and reset every applicable setting I can think of. I likewise updated all of my business relationship settings in my Yahoo mail service.
I continue to go this "Error code: 0x80040902" no affair what I do. I accept searched and searched looking for a definition and cannot find 1. Can ANYONE please just tell me what this 0x80040902 error is.
I know this sounds horribly naïve just isn't in that location a Microsoft point of contact to address these kinds of problems? I apologize if I am simply uninformed, but I experience like Microsoft has told me "Here is your new arrangement that has changing pretty much everything nearly your post. It is wonderful and you should be smart enough to get in work all on your own." I don't empathise why my Win 8.i postal service worked fine and my "new and improved" Win x doesn't. It can't exist this hard. Can information technology?

Yep - me also! And, it seems 100's of others. Same fault messages on HP laptop with 8.one to 10 upgrade on Yahoo Post - AND on my Windows telephone.
Please someone at Microsoft SORT THIS OUT!

I am having the same problem with Yahoo mail. I'chiliad non sure Yahoo likes it that you use a secondary mail service receiver and featherbed Yahoo pages to get post. I suspect the trouble tin can be solved simply Yahoo needs to cooperate.
Windows 10 has presented problems for me in more than one way. My bank, my hubby'southward work schedule, etc exercise non work with Windows 10. I have to utilize Google Chrome to get this stuff washed.
And so I'm hoping that Microsoft volition find an answer...It certainly would make life easier. BTW I followed to Windows Store Apps and got the same message, no bug detected.

I use Outlook for my east-mails since I changed to Windows 10 it has stopped working unable to transport or receive e-mails, the new Mail App in Windows 10 that tells me it cannot download mail every bit it has problem connecting, nor tin I ship mail with that either.
I have tried running trouble shooter aforementioned Code 0x80040902 keeps popping up.
I have downloaded updates for outlook and windows to no avail
I am not a figurer vitrify I use computers that is all, the jargon ofttimes used just confuses me more.
A solution in simple plain language would exist appreciated, all I desire to do is send emails via outlook and synchronise both outlook and the new mail app if possible, or if information technology is conflicting with outlook switch information technology off.

I have to compliment y'all Chris as this is absolutely the best summation of the trouble I accept read to date. I am very surprised to observe that you experienced this using Outlook. OUTLOOK? Actually? One would think that a Microsoft product would work. Become figure. Maybe this is but something that nobody at Microsoft or Yahoo seem to take whatever interest in resolving.
I decided I would go back to Yahoo Mail and only look at Win 10 Mail when I forget just how frustrating it is to try to use it. I practise however doubtable that some bright techie has constitute a perfectly skillful work around for this but unfortunately I am non fluent enough in "tech-speak" to find information technology, permit lonely use that "solution" to my box. I have given up on this and call up perhaps my time will be amend spent looking for a way to remove or hide Win 10 Mail so I don't get tempted to employ information technology again.
I am pretty patience but given that no one seems to even know what Lawmaking 0x80040902 I am not optimistic that this volition exist resolved any fourth dimension soon. Perhaps someday nosotros normal, everyday users will get a postal service that says..."You bunch of dolts!
